Description of the problem identified and causes:

The urban low income communities are exposed to high risk in terms of infections due to dense population; the challenges are manifold in the urban settings.  More than 60,000 people are living in the urban slum and in refugee camp are very needy and distressed people, most affected by the pandemic and the lockdowns are individuals who are not able to work and who are not afforded social protection. There are growing fears of the substantial human impact with the arrival of COVID-19, within the overcrowded population of urban slum dwellers of Chattogram Coastal region. Vulnerable populations have no facility for hand washing or sanitizer. Social distancing is simply unrealistic among slum dwellers living side by side in the overcrowded area which is densely populated.
